Welcome to SideDisplay. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SideDisplay application ("App") provided by Apex ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
SideDisplay is a macOS application that enables users to wirelessly extend their MacBook display to a Tesla vehicle's in-car screen. The App facilitates a connection between your Mac and your Tesla's built-in browser to provide an extended monitor experience.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
SideDisplay may offer paid features or subscriptions. All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. By making a purchase, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and payment policies. All fees are stated at the time of purchase and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or as specified in our refund policy.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date by contacting us. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the use of an extended display in your vehicle complies with all applicable local laws and regulations, including traffic safety laws. Do not use SideDisplay in any way that distracts from safe vehicle operation.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all devices, Tesla models, or software versions. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from vehicle operation while using the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The App may interact with third-party services, including Tesla's in-car browser and Lemon Squeezy for payment processing. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. SideDisplay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to the software, design, logos, and documentation, are owned by Apex. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without prior written consent.
We may update the App from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs, or address security issues. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
